Atmospheric lighting of the castle

On Friday 8 December 2017, the Bouillon Tourist Office unveiled with great pomp the new lighting of Godfrey's famous castle. This LED lighting replaces the previous sodium lighting from 1993.
There are two main reasons for carrying out this project. On the one hand, this lighting will result in considerable savings on the energy bill - on the other hand, the castle will be shown off to its full advantage !
Indeed, this modern lighting results in a large palette of colours and it is possible to program light shows. Thus, four scenographies are planned that will give the castle the desired atmosphere.
The castle walls are lit in white, while the many shooting openings and the inner courtyard are bathed in the three primary colours, which, once mixed, provide a great variety of colour.
This light show can be admired in the evening, once an hour.

Winter time
You can admire the light show during weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and school holidays at 18:00 -19:00 - 20:00 - 21:00 - 22:00.
Summer time
You can admire the light show during weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and school holidays at 21:00 - 22:00 - 23:00.- 00:00.
Remarks :
The shows can only be seen in the evening when it is dark.
The starting hours of the shows vary throughout the year according to the fall of the night. To fully enjoy this show, you can go in the centre of town or even in the highest part of the city (at the youth hostel or Hotel Panorama, for example).
